It is a criminal offence to supply and trade structural metalwork on the European market unless it adheres to BS EN 1090 and carries a legitimate CE mark. CE Marking is a requirement of the Construction Products Regulation (CPR) that harmonises the safety performance of construction products across the EU. CE Marking is regulated by criminal law and the penalties for not adhering to this mandate may result in fines, imprisonment or product recall.
As a Notified Body, we provide certification to BS EN 1090 covering your Factory Production Control (FPC) for structural metal products and ancillaries.
We can also offer assessment and certification to ISO 9001, which is often a complementary standard associated with the CE Marking process.
